New E-Books catalogue gives AIM Members access to expert knowledge
AIM Members will be given access to an exclusive library of E-Books, with the first to be released in May. This resource will provide another resource for Members to enhance their knowledge and advance their careers.
Another chapter is soon to be written into the history of AIM’s historical Bookshops with the launch of the Institute’s first E-Book catalogue.
Available to Members only, the first set of E-Books will be released in May on the AIM website with a further suite being rolled out during the remainder of 2015.
AIM Head of Member Engagement Andrea Brosnan AFAIM said the E-Books would give Members exclusive access to an online library.
“We are upgrading and renewing our Member benefits and having quality E-Books online is another way of improving the AIM Membership experience,” Ms Brosnan said.
“Managers are becoming increasingly busy and the demands on their time are also increasing and as such the main attractions to the E-Books are they are easy to access, printable and can be read on tablet or smart phone.
“AIM commissioned all E-Book researchers and authors and we’re extremely confident that our Members will appreciate the variety and originality of the content.
“Our beautiful Bookshops will remain and the addition of the E-Books to our library will complement the hundreds of hard copies we have in stock at our campuses across Australia.”
AIM Acting CEO Membership Tony Gleeson FAIM said the E-Books were a welcome addition to the improved AIM Membership offering.
“These books will make a significant difference in your career development and are written by a number of Australia's leading experts in their field,” Mr Gleeson said.
“These are valuable member resources that will only grow in number in the coming months.”
The first editions of AIM’s E-Books will include topics such as “Knowledge: Harnessing it for Competitive Advantage” and “Persuasion: Using Influence to Create Engagement”.
