Executive Summary

In early 2007, the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) commissioned a large scale survey of its senior and executive clients and members, including Fellows and Associate Fellows, to better understand the respective roles of management and directors in corporate governance. The study was motivated by the rise in importance of corporate governance in general and the dearth of research specifically surrounding the role of management in effective corporate governance.
