Workshop for Diploma of Project Management
Overview
This workshop forms part of the Diploma of Project Management. The Diploma comprises:
- The three day Applied Project Management program (participants in the Diploma of Project Management do not need to complete the Applied Project Management assessment).
- Between workshops, participants prepare a presentation for an executive briefing on how each of the Diploma Project Management competencies have been applied within their workplace and complete a multiple choice assessment.
- A two day Workshop for Diploma of Project Management, during which the prepared executive briefings are presented and participants are supported to develop their major workplace portfolio. Participants will learn how to integrate project management within their organisations, and how to deal with issues such as achieving business benefits and getting problem projects back on track.
- Submission of the completed Portfolio of Evidence for assessment after the two day workshop.
Workshop for Diploma of Project Management is designed for:
- people with responsibility for multiple, interdependent projects or projects of high value or high risk, including:
- project managers
- project leaders
- highly experienced project team members
- people seeking to acquire the skills involved in these roles.
