Last month I was pretty thrilled to be invited to close AIM’s (sold out!) National Leadership Conference in Brisbane. October marked two significant signature events for AIM. The first is AIM’s 75th Anniversary.
Business capability in Australia has snapped a five year decline to record a modest uplift according to the findings of AIM’s 2016 Australian Management Capability Index (AMCI). The latest findings reveal a slight uptick in the headline performance rating, with Australian businesses operating at 68.7% of what they could be achieving compared to 67.7% last year.

National Salary Survey (NSS) purchasers received their latest update in October with AIM’s research team honing in on staff retention trends across Australia. The release of AIM’s Staff Retention Report, as part of the NSS October update, showed small & medium sized businesses recording the highest resignation rates.
