AIM 30 - who will make the list of Australia’s most exceptional young management talent in 2015?
Acknowledging the achievements of young managers is crucial for guaranteeing their success as the leaders of tomorrow.
AIM Thirty Under 30 is an exceptional program that provides an amazing opportunity for young professionals to make their mark in the business world. This program identifies and provides recognition for managers under the age of 30 and rewards applicants by crowning them the AIM30 alumni for 2014.
Established in 2012, the AIM30 initiative was the brainchild of the Australian Institute of Management’s Young Manager Advisory Board (YMAB).
Tasked with developing initiatives to celebrate the achievements of young managers, the YMAB developed the concept for AIM30 and since then, the results have exceeded expectations.
The AIM30 2014 alumni featured some of Australia’s most successful young business leaders such as Jordan Grives, Managing Director of the Fonebox Group.
Fonebox is a global telecommunications company specialising in all aspects of inbound call services and after turning over more than $3 million in the past financial year, Fonebox is set to double the result in this financial year.
Mr Grives, 25, has said the AIM30 experience was greatly rewarding.
“After receiving similar awards for Fonebox, this award was more important to us as AIM has the prestige and history that we wanted to align ourselves with,” Mr Grives said.
“For younger entrepreneurs it can be difficult to establish yourself in the business community so being a part of the AIM30 was a great way to make an introduction to the established business leaders within AIM’s membership base.
AIM Chief Executive Officer Daniel Musson FAIM said he was looking forward to unveiling the next crop of star managers.
“At AIM we go to every length to celebrate the achievements of managers no matter what stage of their career journey they are on,” Mr Musson said.
“The AIM30 is one of many initiatives along with our Young Manager of the Year Excellence Award that acknowledges the leadership qualities that young managers possess.
“We are proud to align ourselves with these up and coming professionals as they embody all of the ideals that AIM seeks to promote in the management profession.”
Applications for the AIM30 close on Wednesday 31 January 2015.
