2014 Excellence Awards attract high-quality national nominations
The 2014 AIM Excellence Awards are promising to be the biggest in the event’s long celebrated history and this year will be a national campaign for the first time ever. Held in Queensland and the Northern Territory for the past 20 years, the 2014 instalment also includes nominations from applicants in New South Wales, ACT, Tasmania, South Australia and Victoria.
At the close of nominations on August 15 there was more than 500 nominations Australia wide with New South Wales topping the tally with more than 125 nominations from across the state.
With nominations now being finalised into applications, a trend has emerged with nearly half of applicants being non-AIM Group Members which reflects the extensive, nationwide exposure the awards are now receiving in business communities across the country.
Many of Australia’s largest and most prestigious businesses and organisations are represented across diverse industries ranging from small not-for-profits to large finance and telecommunications companies.
The judging for state and territory winners will commence in the Northern Territory on Tuesday 23 September and will continue throughout October.
The AIM Excellence Awards Gala Final will be held in Brisbane on Friday 7 November.
