AIM South Australia bolsters business development team for 2015
The Australian Institute of Management South Australian campus staffing roster has been bolstered for 2015 with the appointment of three new Corporate Solutions Managers.
The new positions are a significant investment and signal the growth that AIM has earmarked for South Australia over the coming years, according to AIM’s South Australian Executive Officer Mark Kirchner FAIM.
Kerry Houston brings more than two decades of experience working in leadership roles in the corporate training industry in South Australia to AIM.
As an alumnus of the AIM South Australian Business School, Ms Houston has an MBA and has well-honed skills in problem solving, developing solutions and leading change in complex environments.
Martin Atherton comes to AIM from Careers Australia where he was most recently the Campus Operations Manager for their Adelaide campus.
With more than 15 years’ experience in the vocational education field through organisations such as TAFE South Australia and the Department of Human Services, Mr Atherton has filled a diverse range of roles ranging from educator to instructional designer, internal auditor and RTO manager.
Debbie Constable was most recently employed as Program Manager for Business SA, a member industry association where she has overseen initiatives such as South Australian Young Entrepreneur Scheme (SAYES) and the Business Coaching Program for established SME's.
Also currently studying an MBA through AIM Business School, Ms Constable has a diverse range of administrative experience and currently sits on the Board for Schools in Business (SIB).
Mr Kirchner said he was thrilled with the depth of experience they bring to the team. “These newly-created roles will partner with small, medium and large businesses in South Australia to support them and lift the bench strength of their leadership teams,” Mr Kirchner said.
“At AIM we have the unique advantage of being able to offer our corporate customers a full range of training programs from Certificate IV through to an MBA and are therefore able to develop all levels of an organisation from emerging and frontline managers through to senior executives.
“I am excited about having Debbie, Martin and Kerry on board as they possess the expertise and capability to meet and understand a business’s training needs and can develop tailored solutions to help these businesses achieve their vision.
“It is also great to see two of our SA Business School alumni on the team as they bring firsthand experience of the AIM MBA program.”
