New AIM magazine heralds a new era in management

The Australian Institute of Management is pleased to announce it has partnered with Bauer Media as the new publisher of Australia’s premier management magazine, AIM: For Management Excellence.

Bauer Media Publishing Manager Andy Ford said he was extremely excited about the opportunity to partner with AIM in what shapes as a bold new era in the Institute’s history.

An internationally-renowned publisher that currently produces 600 magazines annually in 37 countries, Bauer was successful in its proposal to develop the new magazine into a fully integrated multi-platform member communication that is designed to amplify AIM’s new-found national voice.

AIM’s Executive General Manager Membership, Barry Hankinson FAIM said that Bauer had demonstrated its understanding of AIM’s current membership offer and its future ambitions as the management profession’s go-to solutions provider on leadership and management issues.

“AIM: For Management Excellence has the imperative to provide a sustainable integrated content strategy that identifies the most appropriate channels to meet the needs of current and prospective members and ensure the most effective ongoing distribution,” Mr Hankinson said.

“Bauer’s multi-platform approach is based on delivering immersive, engaging and personalised content to provide the most relevant experience to every AIM member and potential member.

“In order to better serve the diversity of the membership, Bauer will redefine the publication’s editorial pillars in ways that add genuine value to every career stage of the management profession.”

Editorial content will now be designed to meld the achievements and aspirations of the full extent of AIM membership, from up and coming managers seeking access to guidance on professional development to middle and senior management who are keen to stay one step ahead of the game.

The first edition of AIM: For Management Excellence will be published on Monday 2 February 2015.
