
How to Apply for a Vocational Qualification at AIM
Ready to take the next step in your professional development? Follow the steps below to apply for a vocational education and training (VET) qualification with the Australian Institute of Management Education and Training (AIM).

Before you apply, we recommend you:

- Check the entry requirements to make sure you're eligible to apply.
- Speak with a Course Advisor on 1300 658 337 to discuss your goals, ask questions, and confirm the course is the right fit for you.
- Understand your fees and payment options, including potential funding support if applicable.
Confirm Your Suitability
If you're applying for a vocational course at AIM, a pre-enrolment review will be conducted to ensure the course is suitable for your learning needs and goals. This review includes:
- Your educational background and work experience
- Language, literacy, numeracy, and digital skills
- Your access to technology and readiness for online, self-paced study
- Suitability of your learning style
Please note: You must be at least 18 years of age at the time of enrolment to undertake a vocational course at AIM. If further clarification is needed, we may request additional documentation to help assess your academic readiness and identify any support needs.

Submit Your Application
You can apply directly online, or contact a Course Advisor to assist with your application. To apply, you’ll need to:
- Complete the AIM application form
- Meet all course entry requirements
- Upload the following documentation:
- A copy of your most recent educational qualification, or grant AIMVET (RTO 0049) access to your official USI
transcript via USI website - Your CV, resume, or a PDF version of your LinkedIn profile
- A form of official photo ID (e.g. driver’s licence, passport, NSW photo card)
- Your Unique Student Identifier (USI). Don’t have one? Create your USI here
- A copy of your most recent educational qualification, or grant AIMVET (RTO 0049) access to your official USI
- Acknowledge that you have:
- Read and understood AIM’s Terms and Conditions, policies, and procedures
- The capability and equipment to complete online self-paced learning
Ensure all application fields are completed, upload your documents, sign the e-form, and submit your application.
