Aim Our Facilitators

Our Facilitators

AIM facilitators are experienced practitioners with a robust mix of academic and practical expertise. We believe the education of the future managers of Australia to be a highly important task.

Who is better placed to teach the art and science of management than those with current, daily real-world experience?

FAQs

New Leader (Online) is a self-paced AIM online short course that covers the same foundational management skills as the on-campus New Leader program, making it a great starting point if you are a first-time manager or would like to increase your potential for a promotion into a leadership role. It provides 24/7 access to learning modules via AIM's myAIM platform, so you can study entirely at your own pace without attending a scheduled session.

Upon completion you will be better equipped to: identify the strengths of your character and develop your effectiveness in communicating with others; understand how to build credibility and trust while cultivating positive workplace relationships; provide direction and motivate teams to achieve operational goals; monitor performance and respond to changing circumstances; and identify and overcome common challenges faced by new leaders.

The course provides up to 6 months of continuous access to AIM's myAIM online learning platform, available 24/7 on any device. Activities, reflections and case studies throughout the modules link your learning back to your workplace context. Inclusions are downloadable course notes and tools and resources. No formal assessment; payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Amex) only. Unique login details are provided to each student and must not be shared. If you wish to study this content in an on-campus or live virtual setting, contact an AIM Training Advisor on 1300 658 337.

This course is periodically available through AIM's online learning platform. If it is not currently showing as available for enrolment, contact an AIM Training Advisor on 1300 658 337 or submit an enquiry to find out about upcoming availability or the on-campus alternative.
