AIM30 Under Thirty - showcasing outstanding young leaders from around Australia
What do a chef, an artistic instructor, a not for profit director and a construction project manager have in common? They’re all now members of an exclusive group of outstanding young leaders selected to take part in this year’s 30 Under Thirty program.
The brainchild of AIM’s Young Manager Advisory Board (YMAB), the AIM 30 is now in its third year and is open for nominations in every state and territory in Australia.
After a lengthy shortlisting process, finalists were established to take part in a series of interviews with the AIM30 judging panel, consisting of YMAB directors and senior AIM Faculty
While other lists of successful young business people are commonplace, the AIM30 program is unique in that it honours the leadership qualities of young managers over and above the financial success of their organisations.
The AIM30 were selected based on a broad range of criteria that explores their ability to inspire their teams, solve problems and develop strategies for ensuring their organisation’s success.
Based on these criteria, the 2015 class of AIM30 are from a widely diverse range of industries and possess some truly unique talents that have made them incredibly valuable as managers and leaders.
AIM’s Head of Member Engagement, Andrea Brosnan has said she is very excited about unveiling this year’s class of AIM30 to Members.
“We definitely have some future stars amongst this group of young professionals and we’re delighted to be introducing them, not just to our Members but also the wider Australian business community,” Ms Brosnan said.
“I have no doubt that this year’s AIM30 are all on track to achieve great things so we’re immensely proud to align ourselves with them at this stage in their careers.”
This year’s AIM30 class is due to be unveiled at a series of exclusive events taking place in every major city around Australia.
AIM30 alumni will be the guests of honour at these intimate events where they will be able to celebrate their achievement with their families and supporters.
The full list of AIM30 winners will be published on May 29 at www.aim.com.au and AIM30 events will be taking place on May 28-29.
