  • Communicate the importance of consultation mechanisms in managing WHS risks to work team
  • Apply consultation mechanisms to facilitate work team participation in managing work area hazards, according to organisational policies and procedures

Pathway

This unit is accredited and forms a pathway into the Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety. Upon successful completion of this Microcredential you can receive a credit and reduce the price and time to complete the Full Qualification.

Time Commitment

Access to materials for 16 weeks and it is recommended that students commit approximately 4-5 hours per week to developing their competency through a range of learning, work-based skills testing and assessment activities.

Assessment

Within the AIM assessment model, competency is demonstrated through answering knowledge questions and completing workplace-based practical assessment tasks.

These tasks may include the need to utilise workplace-based activities involving others or participation in role plays.
