OUR FACILITATORS

By managers, for managers - that is the principle through which AIM selects, endorses and ultimately entrusts to its talented pool of facilitators the important task of educating the future managers of Australia.

AIM’s facilitators are selected on the basis of both their skills as presenters and their academic and practical experience. We take very seriously the notion that the art and science of management is best imparted by those who have been down that road and continue to practise in the area of management.

Facilitators delivering this course include:

David Ekert
David's background includes a number of senior financial management roles in Government and public companies. He has also managed major change programs at Program Director level, enabled by leading Enterprise Resource Planning software. This experience has seen David manage very large teams and budgets and he has a record of successful delivery. David's earlier experience in delivering system-based training and facilitation of strategic planning activities has led to him consulting with clients to identify and finalise training requirements and deliver programs in finance and accounting.

Terry Gaven
Terry's background is in corporate management, with an emphasis on Finance and Administration.  His industry experience includes management education, hospitality, natural resource distribution, transport and tourism. Terry brings to management and leadership development a wealth of experience gained over 20 years at senior executive level. He specialises in financial management, working with organisations to develop their financial function as one that is integral to, and supporting their strategic objectives and business plans.
