AIM 2025 Year In Review
With 2025 drawing to a close, let’s take a moment to look back on a year defined by momentum, innovation and impact. From expanding our academic portfolio to launching new partnerships and delivering expert-led webinars, AIM has continued to evolve in response to the needs of modern professionals. Throughout the year, our goal has remained clear - empowering our learners and partners with the skills and insights they need to succeed.
Expanding Our Partnerships
This year also marked significant growth through strategic partnerships and acquisitions. We welcomed IECL and Open Door Coaching into the Scentia and AIM family, strengthening our capability in leadership development and coaching excellence. These additions expand the depth of expertise available to our learners and reinforce our commitment to delivering industry-leading professional development.
We also broadened the value of our qualifications through new industry partnerships. Students enrolled in any AIM Project Management Qualification, now receive access to a dedicated Smartsheet learning package (valued at over A$400), giving them hands-on experience with one of the sector’s most widely used project tools.
In addition, our partnership with the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) enhances the FNS40222 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, ensuring learners benefit from industry recognition and stronger pathways into the profession.
Strengthening Capability Through Short Courses
2025 was a strong year for professional development at AIM. Our Short Courses continued to equip professionals and leaders across Australia with the practical, job-ready skills that support success in a rapidly evolving workplace.
Thousands of learners participated in AIM Short Courses this year, building insights, strategies and confidence that translated directly into meaningful outcomes. Whether improving team performance, enhancing productivity or strengthening organisational resilience, our learners made measurable impact in their roles.
We also launched 28 new Short Courses and refreshed five existing programs, ensuring our offerings remain relevant, up to date and aligned with current industry needs. Covering leadership, communication, digital skills and more, these courses continue to support learners at every stage of their career.
New Immersive Online Portfolio
A major milestone in 2025 was the launch of our Immersive Online Portfolio, expanding our commitment to delivering flexible, high-impact learning experience. This portfolio blends conceptual understanding with practical application, guiding learners through targeted, progressive skill development.
With AI-powered simulations, real-world scenarios and practical tools, these programs enable learners to build confidence and capability they can apply immediately in the workplace.
This launch represents a significant step forward in our mission to make quality education both accessible and adaptable to the needs of modern professionals.
Preparing Professionals for a Digital Future
As part of our strategic focus on digital capability, we undertook a comprehensive repositioning of our Digital Skills portfolio, creating a cohesive learning experience that reflects the growing importance of applied digital skills in the modern workplace.
Launching with a total of 15 Short Courses, this portfolio delivers flexible digital and AI fluency training for professionals and organisations seeking to lift capability across their teams.
To amplify awareness and engagement, we delivered a brand awareness campaign that showcased our innovative approach to digital learning. The campaign reached a wide audience of professionals and organisations looking to develop future-focused capabilities with the practical, relevant, and forward thinking programs in our Digital Skills portfolio.
Vocational Qualifications
To ensure our range of programs continues to grow in line with emerging workforce needs, we introduced three new Vocational Qualifications, three AIM Microcredentials, and refreshed two existing qualifications.
We welcomed the 11287NAT Diploma of Artificial Intelligence, which has quickly become one of our most in-demand programs - a reflection of how professionals are increasingly required to understand, apply, and lead AI-driven initiatives in their organisations. To support learners seeking focused, accelerated development, we also introduced three AIM Microcredentials that deliver targeted, practical skills with immediate workplace relevance.
This year we expanded our Finance faculty with the introduction of the FNS40821 Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking and strengthened our Leadership and Strategy offering with the BSB30120 Certificate III in Business.
We also refreshed both the BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management and the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management to ensure they reflect the latest industry standards, contemporary leadership practices, and the evolving expectations placed on modern managers.
These additions strengthen our capability offering and reflect our commitment to delivering programs that align with the skills organisations now demand.
Whitepaper Findings
The Building Workforce Capability in 2025 whitepaper reveals a clear picture of the current L&D landscape: while many organisations continue to operate with flat or declining budgets and face time pressures, there is growing recognition of the critical skills needed for the future. Leadership, change management, and artificial intelligence have emerged as top priorities, and businesses are increasingly adopting flexible, short-form learning solutions to deliver practical impact for time-poor employees.
The whitepaper highlights a tension between constrained resources and rising demand for capability uplift, yet it also shows optimism - organisations are gaining greater clarity on where to invest to drive engagement, productivity, and long-term resilience. Collectively, these findings underscore a central message: investment in people is not optional, but a strategic imperative for building organisational adaptability and enduring value.

This year we continued our focus on delivering free webinars to educate attendees on emerging trends and the importance of upskilling.
